| Salida, CO, population 4,500. Mayor R. T. Taylor was hot on the trail of the park and recreations manager, when he got into office. He found that the manager was ignoring the local communities need for a skate park. He found that the money was being used for baseball funding, and not being dispersed evenly in the community. So he demanded the money go to the skate park next year. Just enough to build this bowl, including the fencing and lighting. Built by Omar, Matt, James and the crew. James also designed this bowl. | |
