Our wood crew just returned from Miami, Florida where they built a ramp as an Art installation for the Art Basel art show. Art Basel is one of the biggest art gatherings in the world each year. This year at Art Basel they had a themed area on the beach called "Concrete Waves: Homage to Skate Culture" and features art revolving around skate culture. Our ramp was placed directly in the center of this themed area. Jason Ranft from our crew was asked to skate in a demo on the ramp alongside Tony Alva!

Our latest concrete creation is now complete! The park is located in the city of Antwerp, and it features Team Pain's first ever concrete full pipe. This is the third park that we have built in Belgium, and it has already gotten a lot of really good feedback from the locals. Sorry for the lack of updates, but we have been doing some big updates to our main website! The Grand Opening for the Antwerp bowl park is scheduled for this Saturday November 24th. I will post more pictures as we get them...until then check out these shots of the crew skating the park!










Our wood crew just returned from Tampa, FL where they re-built the Skate Park of Tampa street course. Every year they re-do the street course so it is different for the annual Pro and Am contests. Here is a little preview of what the course is looking like...

We built Ollies indoor skate park a few years ago, ad the park is amazing. Ollies is located in Florence, Kentucky and recently had a demo featuring Tony Hawk and the rest of the Birdhouse Team. There were 1500+ people at the demo. Here are some pictures of the Vert portion of the demo.




A photographer, fellow base jumper, and friend of Bob Burnquist sent us the picture below of Bobs Grand Canyon rail. We built this structure for Bob awhile back for the Stunt Junkies TV show.

While out in Antwerp building the skate park, Chris Berry and the crew went to the contest that was held at the park that we built last year in Kortrijk, Belgium. Chris had a pretty good run, check it out in the video below!

Team Pains latest wood creation is now complete! "The Park" in Melbourne, Florida features two different rooms, one with a street course and the other with a bowl. The park is a lot of fun! This week Tito Porrata and Tim Payne went out to Colorado to meet with the city and visit the future site of the skate park that we will be building in Colorado Springs! They also had a chance to skate some of the free parks that Colorado has to offer, including the Silverthorne skate park that we built almost 10 years ago! The park is holding up great after all of these years of skating and snow! Pictures: TITO





This past weekend was the Surf Expo here in Orlando. As always Team Pain designed and built the mini ramp for this years contest that was hosted by Volcom Clothing. Rune Glifberg took first place and walked away with a new guitar and $10,000 dollars! Kyle Berard came in second, with Mike Peterson coming in third. The grand opening for the Stirling Skate Park in Dunedin Florida was this past Saturday. Lots of people showed up to check out Team Pains latest creation. Tito from Team Pain snapped some photos of the Opening day activites...

All of the finishing touches have been made, and the Dunedin Skate Park is now COMPLETE! The grand opening is scheduled for next weekend on September 15th! Look at the flier in the picture below.

The wood crew has been in Melbourne, Florida the last few days building a new indoor park. Check out the Myspace page for "THE PARK" .



Lance Spiker from the concrete crew sent us some new pictures of some of the Dunedin Street area. The street section includes a step up, rail, hubbas, and a banked hubba ledge. Also we got a tile Team Pain mural in the park thanks to Kevin Slam Carman!

Aside from building concrete municipal skateparks all over the world, and private wood skate parks. Team Pain also builds ramps for top professional skateboarders and bikers as well as training facilities for the top companies in the business. Team Pain skate parks first started out with building backyard ramps.We don't forget our roots and we continue to build backyard ramps to this day. One awesome example is this backyard paradise commissioned by our friend Allen at an undisclosed location in the Northeast. The ramp is modeled after Bob Burnquists backyard ramp (Minus the cradle). This baby is indoors! The House of Steam.com recently did an article on the ramp. Check it out!




The crew out in Dunedin got a lot done the past few days. The snake zone and street area is starting to take shape. The pool coping and the tile has also been installed.






We got the first photo update from our crew out in Antwerp Belgium. To avoid the heat, they are working under a big circus tent. The park is aleady looking amazing.

Team Pain recently teamed up with Mountain Dew and Paul Rodriguez to build an obstacle for Pauls private warehouse in Los Angeles. Paul wanted a private place to go skate so he came up with the plan for what he wanted in his warehouse, and Mountain Dew hooked it up. Team Pain is building the ramp again this year at the Surf Expo here in Orlando. The ramp is going to be similar to last year only we are adding some flame throwers, some stripper cages, and a live alligator pit under the channel.
Last year we built the Academy Skate Park in Woodbridge, CT. The park is still looking great!





The Plan B website has a video from their demo at the Eastern Skate Supply park that was built by Team Pain. Some of the footage from the Demo also aired on Fuel TV. Check out the PLAN B website for the video from the demo.
The concrete crew is still hard at work in Dunedin, FL. All of the pool coping has been installed and they finished putting on the black and white checkered tile around the pool. The snake zone is also starting to show some shape.

Curt Baker from the concrete crew is now on the injured list. We are hoping for a speedy recovery so he can get back to building parks!

SwiftFooted magazine out of Europe recently did an article on the Quiksilvers bowlriders contest at the skate park we built in Kortrijk Belgium. We got a few photos sent to us from the contest.
Lance from the crew sent us a photo of this freshly completed bench in the street course, and also this tile Team Pain mural that will be placed somewhere in the park.

Most of todays top professional skateboarders choose not to go to any of the contests, but most of the Pros make it a point to attend the few contests that feature street courses that mimic real street terrain.
Last year Team Pain built the course for the X-Games. Check out this video to see what some of the Pros thought of the course.
