Team Pain has built the Vert Bike & Skateboard ramps for the X-Trial & for the X-Games Final since 1999. The year 2000 stops for the X-Trials were @ Lake Havasue, Arizona, Louisville, Kentucky, St. Petersburg, Florida & Nashville, Tennessee. Tim's crew built a 48' wide, 10'6" transition with 1'3" of vert ramp for the BMX riders & a 56' wide 10'3" transition with 1'9" of vert ramp for the skateboarders. Because the two sports prefer slightly different setups to ride, Team Pain knows exactly what the riders like & the rider always enjoy competing on a Team Pain built contest ramp. For the Lake Havasue, Louisville contest, the BMX ramp had two very large roll-ins on opposite ends of the ramp with no roll-ins on the Skateboard ramp. For the St. Petersburg contest the contestants were surprised with a change. Tim had placed only one roll-in just off center of both the BMX & the Skateboard ramps. This allowed for some high flying by skaters such as Jake Brown as (picture above) Bob Burnquist, Sandro Dias just to mention a few.
